I’ve always had a passion for radio and have more than 13 years experience in broadcasting.
Since 2008, I have contributed dozens of film and music features to BBC Radio Scotland, becoming a regular contributor to The Janice Forsyth Show (previously The Culture Studio and The Movie Cafe). I have guest presented several editions of these programmes, interviewing prominent figures such as Michael Fassbender, Juliette Binoche, Fiona Shaw, Dolph Lundgren, Lloyd Kaufman, Joe Carnahan, Jay Baruchel, Alex Norton, Duke Special, Will Young and many others.
I have been a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4’s The Film Programme since 2009 with many features on European cinema. I have also appeared on Night Waves, Sound of Cinema (BBC Radio 3), The Tom Morton Show, Another Country with Ricky Ross, The Jazz House (BBC Radio Scotland) and The Strand (BBC World Service).
In 2011, I contributed to a major BBC Radio 4 documentary entitled Hollywood: The Prequel discussing pre-WWI Italian cinema. Other contributors included Prof Ian Christie and Prof Kristin Thompson.
