Adapting Miss Highsmith

I wrote on all twelve films in Filmhouse’s touring season of Patricia Highsmith adaptations. The season began on Friday 8th July with Alfred Hitchcock’s 1951 adaptation of Strangers on a Train and will continue with titles such as Plein Soleil (René Clément), Le meurtrier (Claude Autant-Lara), The Glass Cell (Hans W. Geissendörfer), The American Friend (Wim Wenders), Deep Water (Michel Deville), The Talented Mr Ripley (Anthony Minghella) and more.
